In this class, students can expect to learn and develop an understanding of the fundamental forging techniques. Focusing on hammer control and comfortability at the anvil, students will build confidence through repetition and the production of multiples. Discussion of design principles and what makes forged work both functional and visually engaging will be prevalent. By the end of the course, participants will complete a finished coat rack and have an understanding of essential forging skills.
