Fall Programs
We are introducing a community arts model of class scheduling out of the 606 Arts Space. Classes and workshops offering foundational instruction, an Artist Residency and a monthly membership including open studio access. Schedules for programming will be released on a quarterly basis.
Classes
Welcome to the shop! These beginner-friendly classes are designed to introduce the fundamentals of forging in a supportive, hands-on environment. Through project-based instruction, students will learn the core skills and foundational techniques needed to work confidently and effectively in the workshop.
Students can expect to create a variety of functional and decorative objects while developing an understanding of tool use, material behaviour, and essential forging processes.
Shop practice, tool maintenance, and safe working procedures are key components in this course, building both technical skills and confidence in the workshop.
Whether you're completely new to blacksmithing or looking to strengthen your foundational skills, these courses provide a practical and engaging introduction to the craft.
